Renting the 2003 Ford Explorer
Here is the 2003 Ford Explorer, for anyone after a rental car. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
It uses the 4.0L 6-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Combined fuel use is 13.8 L/100 km: about 41 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $21.39 to drive 100 km.
When the Explorer makes sense
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.
The Explorer in everyday use
The higher seat of an SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Can you rent one?
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
The booking steps
You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
The rules, briefly
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
