Luup alternative: the 2012 Ford Flex

Searching for Luup alternative and the 2012 Ford Flex? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The numbers in plain words

The 3.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 36 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 12.1 L/100 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $187.60 at our price setting.

What the Flex is like

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

A good match for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Renting the Flex from CarmaCars

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

How renting with us works

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
