Booking, step by step

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
