The Ford LT9501: Luup alternative
For a rental car, here is what the Ford LT9501 brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Under the hood
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the LT9501 is like
As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
Best uses
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Our LT9501 cars
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Renting: the basics
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
What happens when you ask for a car
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Your move
Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.

Can I rent a Ford LT9501 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
