Renting the 1982 Ford LTD
If you need a rental car, the 1982 Ford LTD is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The figures, translated
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Room inside
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
When the LTD makes sense
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Renting it
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
From your dates to the handover
It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
What you need to rent
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Ask us
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.

Can I rent a 1982 Ford LTD in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
