The 2014 GMC Acadia: Luup alternative
For a rental car, here is what the 2014 GMC Acadia brings, and how to request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
It uses the 3.6L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Plan on about 37 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 12.3 L/100 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $19.07, and a 300 km weekend about $57.21.
A good match for
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Size and space
The higher seat of a full-size SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Renting this car
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
What happens when you ask for a car
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
The rules, briefly
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Ready to ask?
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
