Luup alternative: 1986 GMC ACL

Luup alternative and the 1986 GMC ACL

Luup alternative and the 1986 GMC ACL: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

The ACL in everyday use

As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Our ACL cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Who qualifies

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking, step by step

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
