Luup alternative: the GMC Suburban
For a rental car, here is what the GMC Suburban brings, and how to request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Room inside
As an SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.
A good match for
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.
In our fleet
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
What to expect when you book
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Before pickup
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
Questions first?
A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.

Can I rent a GMC Suburban in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
