Luup alternative: the 1984 GMC Value Van
Here is the 1984 GMC Value Van, for anyone after a rental car. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The numbers in plain words
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Space and size
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
Can I rent it?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
How booking works
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
What you need to rent
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?

What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
