Luup alternative and the 1985 Isuzu Pickup
Luup alternative and the 1985 Isuzu Pickup: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The figures, translated
It is powered by the 2.2L 4-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
A combined rating of 7.4 L/100 km works out to about 22 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.47, and a 300 km weekend about $34.41.
When the Pickup makes sense
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed.
What the Pickup is like
It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.
