What you need to rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How booking works

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
