Luup alternative: the Kandi K27
The Kandi K27 for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
The K27 in everyday use
As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.
When the K27 makes sense
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Rent it from us
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How to book
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
Before you rent
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Can I rent a Kandi K27 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
