Luup alternative and the 2005 Kia Optima
Want to know if the 2005 Kia Optima suits a rental car? Read on. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The engine is the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Fuel use is rated 10.2 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 31 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $15.81, and a 300 km weekend about $47.43.
Practical details
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
A good match for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Renting it
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Booking, step by step
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
The rules, briefly
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
Ready when you are
Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
