Renting the 2014 Lexus CT
Searching for Luup alternative and the 2014 Lexus CT? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
The 1.8L 4-cylinder hybrid with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Fuel use is rated 5.6 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 17 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $26.04 in energy at our price setting.
What the CT is like
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 396 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
When the CT makes sense
Its low fuel use suits long commutes and high-kilometre weeks. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

From request to keys
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Rules for renters
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
