Luup alternative: the 1992 Lexus ES

The 1992 Lexus ES for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

It uses the 3.0L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 12.4 L/100 km combined: about 37 litres every 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $19.22 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The trunk holds 396 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

In our fleet

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

What to expect when you book

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
