Specs, explained
Its powertrain is the 3.0L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
At 11.2 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 34 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $17.36, and a 300 km weekend about $52.08.
Good uses for the ES
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.
Space, size and seats
Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 396 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

The rules, briefly
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
How it works
Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Ready when you are
Find a car you like and ask for your dates.
