Luup alternative: the 2011 Lexus GS
Searching for Luup alternative and the 2011 Lexus GS? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the figures tell you
The 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Rated at 10.1 L/100 km combined, it needs around 30 litres for a 300 km round trip. That works out to about $15.66 per 100 km at our price setting.
Who rents the GS
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
What the GS is like
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 255 litres, roughly about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Can I rent it?
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Rules for renters
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Booking, step by step
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
Your move
The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
