Luup alternative with this car
This page joins two things: Luup alternative, and the 2016 Lexus GS in plain words. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
The 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Fuel use is rated 7.5 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 23 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $11.63 to drive 100 km.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
What to expect from the GS
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Getting one from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How to book
It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
Rules for renters
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
