The 2014 Lexus GX: Luup alternative

Luup alternative and the 2014 Lexus GX: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 4.6L 8-cylinder, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

Combined fuel use is 13.9 L/100 km: about 42 litres for 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $72.99 in energy at our price setting.

The GX in everyday use

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting the GX from CarmaCars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Before pickup

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

What to expect when you book

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
