This 1999 Lexus LS page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
Power comes from the 4.0L 8-cylinder, driving through a 5-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The EPA rates it at 12.4 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 37 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $21.70 at our price setting.
The LS in everyday use
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 396 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
A good match for
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rules for renters
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Booking made plain
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
