Renting the 2021 Lexus LS
For a rental car, here is what the 2021 Lexus LS brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Engine and fuel
Power comes from the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid, driving through an automatic (CVT). As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
It is rated at 8.4 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.02, and a 300 km weekend about $39.06.
Space and size
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.
Getting one from us
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
What to expect when you book
Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Driver basics
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
When you know your dates
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
