The 2014 Lexus LX: Luup alternative

Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 2014 Lexus LX: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

Under the hood: the 5.7L 8-cylinder and four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 50 litres, from its 16.5 L/100 km rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $86.64 at our price setting.

How big it is

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who it is for

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Requesting a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Requirements

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Over to you

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
