The Lexus SC: Luup alternative
Here is the Lexus SC, for anyone after a rental car. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the figures tell you
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Space, size and seats
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.
Good uses for the SC
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Getting one from us
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Booking, step by step
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
What to have ready
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
Over to you
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.

Can I rent a Lexus SC in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
