The 2020 Mazda 2: Luup alternative
Here is the 2020 Mazda 2, for anyone after a rental car. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the specs mean
The powertrain to know here is the 1.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
It is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 20 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $103.90.
Best uses
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
What to expect from the 2
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 453 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.
Our 2 cars
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How booking works
Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Licence, age and card
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
One more step
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
