Requirements
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Requesting a car
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
