The 2012 Mazda 6: Luup alternative
Want to know if the 2012 Mazda 6 suits a rental car? Read on. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
Its 2.5L 4-cylinder drives through a 5-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Rated at 9.5 L/100 km combined, it needs around 29 litres for a 300 km round trip. In energy, every 100 km costs about $14.73 at our price setting.
Who rents the 6
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Room inside
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 481 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.
Renting the 6 from CarmaCars
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How it works
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Who qualifies
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
