Renting: the basics
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
What happens when you ask for a car
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
Next step
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
