This 2023 Mazda MX-30 page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Engine and fuel
The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with front-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
For every 100 km it uses about 22.8 kWh. A full charge is rated for 161 km; plan for less in the cold. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $10.26 at our price setting.
Good uses for the MX-30
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
What the MX-30 is like
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 595 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

What you need to rent
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Your request, our offer, your keys
Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
When you know your dates
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
