Luup alternative: 1996 Mazda MX-5

About the 1996 Mazda MX-5

Want the 1996 Mazda MX-5 as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Under the hood

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Inside and out

Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.

Who the MX-5 suits

It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Who qualifies

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Booking with CarmaCars

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
