Want the 2011 Mazda MX-5 as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder; drive: rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
A combined rating of 9.7 L/100 km works out to about 29 litres per 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $50.91 at our price setting.
Size and space
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.
Who the MX-5 suits
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Requesting a car
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Rules for renters
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
