Luup alternative with this car
If a rental car is the plan, the 2023 MINI Cooper is worth a look; here is why. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Under the hood
The engine is the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Combined fuel use is 7.3 L/100 km: about 22 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $127.80.
Space and size
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. For luggage, 255 litres means about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
When the Cooper makes sense
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Rent this car
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What you need to rent
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
How booking works
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
When you know your dates
Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
