This 2008 MINI MiniE page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup.

For every 100 km it uses about 21.1 kWh. Its rated range is 161 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. A 300 km weekend costs about $9.51 in energy at our price setting.

Space and size

Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.

Who rents the MiniE

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can you rent one?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

How it works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What we need from you

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
