Luup alternative: the 2021 Nissan Altima SV

This 2021 Nissan Altima SV page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Renting for Ruby

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,626 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

Hopewell, Beech Grove and Gatesville are the neighbouring places on our list.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 7.6 L/100 km, means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the Altima

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

The Altima in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver requirements

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Request, offer, keys

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
