Renting the 2011 Nissan Leaf

For a rental car, the 2011 Nissan Leaf is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The figures, translated

The electric motor with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Energy use is rated at 21.1 kWh/100 km, about 63 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 117 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. In energy, every 100 km costs about $3.17 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Leaf

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 651 litres for luggage, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who the Leaf suits

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Can you rent one?

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

What to have ready

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How booking works

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
