Luup alternative with this car

Renting the 2017 Nissan Leaf as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Under the hood

The electric motor with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. A full charge is rated for 172 km; plan for less in the cold. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

How big it is

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 680 litres, the trunk fits bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Can you rent one?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

From request to keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
