The 2002 Nissan Quest: Luup alternative

For a rental car, the 2002 Nissan Quest could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Engine and fuel

It is powered by the 3.3L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 13.8 L/100 km, means roughly 41 litres for 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $64.17 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Being a minivan, it carries people and their bags without fuss.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

How a booking comes together

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What to bring

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
