Rules for renters

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Booking with CarmaCars

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
