Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 2014 Rolls-Royce Phantom: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
Its 6.7L 12-cylinder drives through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
By the EPA's combined rating of 17.0 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 51 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $297.50.
Who the Phantom suits
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Practical details
Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 396 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting the car booked
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
The rules, briefly
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
