Renting the 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom
Luup alternative and the 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
Power comes from the 6.7L 12-cylinder, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
It is rated 17.0 L/100 km combined: about 51 litres every 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $29.75.
Who it is for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Size and space
Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 396 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Renting the Phantom from CarmaCars
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Requesting a car
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You pay when you approve, and only then.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
What you need to rent
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
When you know your dates
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
