Luup alternative: the 2011 Saab 9-4

If you need a rental car, the 2011 Saab 9-4 is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Engine and fuel

It runs the 3.0L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 35 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 11.6 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $179.80 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the 9-4

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Renting the 9-4 from CarmaCars

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

How a booking comes together

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Who qualifies

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Questions first?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
