Renting the Saab 9-5

If a rental car is the plan, the Saab 9-5 is worth a look; here is why. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The numbers in plain words

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Space and size

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Getting this car from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

How to book

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What we need from you

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

When you know your dates

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.

Can I rent a Saab 9-5 in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
