Luup alternative and the 2014 SRT Viper
This page joins two things: Luup alternative, and the 2014 SRT Viper in plain words. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
Power: the 8.4L 10-cylinder; drive: rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Fuel use is rated 16.2 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 49 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $85.05 at our price setting.
Who rents the Viper
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Size and space
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.
Can you rent one?
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What we need from you
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Your booking, in three steps
Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
