Rules for renters

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
