Luup alternative: the 2016 Subaru Impreza

Luup alternative and the 2016 Subaru Impreza: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

What the Impreza is like

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can I rent it?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

One more step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
