What the specs mean

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Inside and out

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting this car

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Renting: the basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking, step by step

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
