What the specs mean

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. In money, 1,000 km costs about $27.90 at our price setting.

A good match for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

How big it is

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer.

What to bring

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Getting the car booked

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
