Specs, explained

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its rating is 18.6 kWh/100 km: about 56 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

What the Model 3 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Can you rent one?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we check

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
