Luup alternative: the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance

If a rental car is the plan, the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Yoder and the Model 3

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,474 km from Yoder, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Yoder itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

The pages for Holdridge, Ricusky and South Stuttgart cover the areas next door.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. At our price setting, it costs about $2.79 to drive 100 km.

Who it is for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

What the Model 3 is like

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Booking made plain

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we need from you

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
