Luup alternative and the 2017 Toyota Corolla SE

For a rental car, here is what the 2017 Toyota Corolla SE brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The Corolla and Farmbrook

If you need it in Farmbrook itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Farmbrook is about 509 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are near Farmbrook, Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village are close too.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the 1.8L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. Expect about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Living with the Corolla

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rules for renters

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How it works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
