Luup alternative: beige 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE in Yameri

Luup alternative with this car

Luup alternative: the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Yameri and the Corolla

Yameri is about 3,364 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri.

Neighbouring areas include San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec.

Reading the spec sheet

The 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 22 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $11.32 at our price setting.

Who the Corolla suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Practical details

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the Corolla from CarmaCars

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Licence, age and card

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
